The 2025 Bands, Brews & BBQ event is a two-day celebration of food, music, and fun, taking place each February in Port Royal, South Carolina. This exciting event is officially sanctioned by the South Carolina Barbecue Association (SCBA) and is dedicated to benefiting two local nonprofit organizations: HELP of Beaufort and the Zonta Club of Beaufort.
Admission and Ticket Information
- Admission is free for all attendees.
- Wings (Friday night) and BBQ (Saturday) can be sampled with tickets, available for purchase at $1 each.
- Beer, wine, water, and soft drinks will be available for purchase, along with food from local vendors.
- The event will take place rain or shine.
- Wing Judging & VIP is Friday night. Food & Beverage tickets can be used either day.
Event Highlights
Friday Night – Wing Throw Down
Kick off the weekend with the Wing Throw Down on Friday evening. Attendees can sample delicious wing recipes from participating cookers while enjoying live music in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Saturday – BBQ Tasting Day
Saturday is the main event, where BBQ teams from across the Southeast will serve their award-winning barbecue. This is your chance to taste some of the best barbecue in the region.
Live Music
Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy live music from local bands. The festival will feature a variety of musical styles to keep the atmosphere lively and engaging.
Supporting Local Nonprofits
Proceeds from the Bands, Brews & BBQ event will benefit:
HELP of Beaufort, which has been serving the community since 1973 by providing food, clothing, financial assistance, and meals to those in need. They also operate a certified USDA Wellness Pantry.
Zonta Club of Beaufort, which offers scholarships to local high school seniors and working women, and supports initiatives against human trafficking and gender-based violence.

Hometown Heroes Award
One of the highlights of the event is the Hometown Heroes Award, which recognizes local teams representing first responders, veterans, education, and healthcare. These teams compete for a $500 prize, a flag, and bragging rights for the year.
